Madelief over haar werk:
My collection captures the deep sadness and loneliness that has developed as I've been going through the darkest depths of grief.
(My dad recently died of cancer)
Through a mix of dark and white images, I aim to showcase the stark contrast that have colored my experiences. My art depicts a world that is both faraway and isolated, yet hauntingly beautiful in its starkness. It is a testament to the power of art to transform our pain and heartache into something sublime.
Join me as I take you on my journey of darkness and light, isolation and ultimately the transformative power of art.

Recent heeft Madelief met deze reeks de prijs gewonnen van beste jonge fotograaf van Europa, FEP Young Photographer 2024.

De opening van de expositie is 31 oktober om 19.00 uur.
